Danielle Flick I think the writing is beautiful but the story was really lacking for me. I just wanted more from the book.

Eli This book was terribly boring in my opinion. The plot was going nowhere, the characters were bland and insignificant. The ending was a disappointment. Would absolutely not recommend.

Annabella Zachary It is slow and in the end it feels like nothing get resolved. But it is interesting, there are stories within stories and the writing is pretty. I have read both of her books and they seem to not be for me

Sarah Parker I really enjoyed it, but I can see how it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. It is beautifully written and very imagery heavy, however it’s not a nice neat story.

Sarah Ortinau That’s how I felt! I was invested in it, because it made me feel like I was reading a dream, but I can see how that wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea

Wordless Idk how late I am to this but for what it’s worth, I absolutely loved this book. I was in a massive reading slump until I picked it up. It’s honestly interesting, the writing is amazing, the characters were written really well, and I personally just enjoyed the plot. As others said, it’s probably not everyone’s cup of tea, especially because in some ways there’s a story within the story but I think everything tied together nicely.

Nicki I really enjoyed this book. It can be a bit slow at times but it was so pretty and such a different plot. I would love to read it again, I’m sure there’s a lot that I missed the first time around.

Bailey Ford Her writing style is very lyrical and while I did like the book, the only thing that killed me was that it was told in a non linear way. The constant jumping back and forth between past, present, made it hard for me to follow sometimes.
