Glitch Velski Goodman Afton I found out when I was 13 - 14 due to many bouts of trauma making my mind fight to either be super hypersexual or be repulsed by anything sexual. I am Aceflux. For the non-binary part, that was just something that I had to find out due to the discomfort I got from she/her and he/him pronouns.

pres Hey i’m AceFlux too :)! And the finding out the non binary thing must not have been fun from being constantly being misgendered.

Cheryl Rodrigues-Garrison I came out as bisexual to my mother at a restaurant so my mother would not scream and shout bit funny thing is all she said was oh OK. That could have been the restaurant thing too. Later in my life discovered actually pansexual.

Jacqnielis Perez I have a similar story, so I came out as bisexual to my mom when we were eating and she was ok with it and accepted me but then later I found out I was pansexual.

Red Reads I knew at the age of six, and it got worse when puberty hit, but I was in a highly religious household and unable to speak about it so I just developed a lot of mental issues and now I'm out. Doesn't mean I don't have mental issues still. But now I have a support group and I'm working on getting better.

Elliott What a funny place to answer this on. It was actually because of a book lol. I was reading I Wish You All The Best by Mason Deaver (highly recommend) and my mom asked what it was about, I told her and we had a discussion until she asked my sexuality, at first I told her I didn't know yet but then she asked again and I told her. I'm pansexual. Then with gender, we had a talk about me not wanting to wear bras and then I thought this topic could be a way I can bring up binders.

Elliott I asked her about them the next day and the question came up, I wasn't able to answer though because of my brother but when we went to the library the next day I did tell her. I'm genderfluid and she bought me the binder.

Tootsie_Roll 💗 I actually started noticing in 4th grade. There was this very pretty girl in my class and I couldn't help but just stare at her. I brushed it off thinking that I was just envious of her looks because I hadn't known much about homosexuality at the time. I went through bisexual to pansexual to omnisexual to bisexual again and then finally, I realized I was lesbian the entire time. Some people who helped me find out my true sexuality was Hailee Steinfeld and Lili Reinhart 😅

kzy honestly I was like 8 and playing episode on my moms iPad 💀 i was doing the pretty little liars one and it was like hey do u like girls or boys and I picked girls lmao. no idea why I was on that app at 8 but whatever. im bisexual now and came out in 4th/5th grade. but in January my mom was like oh r u still feeling that way 😀 and I told her that imo gender didn’t super matter. as for my gender, still pretty confused. pretty much using all prns right now, but thinking about switching to they/them. yeah so that’s that. i definetly feel I lean more to girls but who knows, boys are really immature rn and girls just appeal more at my age ✌️

Alex I started figuring myself out first when everyone started getting crushes and stuff. It would make me really frustrated when my friends started dating boys but I honestly had no interest. I heard someone at my table during homeroom gossip about how one of my mutual friends came out as bi. Let’s just say my heart stopped and I was so excited. Since then, there has been a lot of am I gay quizzes, and books about girls figuring out they like other girls

Marsh So I ‘knew’ I was trans but didn’t have the words for it for a long time (my 20s) and by then I was so ashamed it took a little longer for me to accept it. I had non-binary imaginary friends when I was four, told my friend at age six I was going to grow up to be a boy (and his weirded out reaction made me repressssss). I dated girls in college but it always fell apart pretty quick, because I was sex repulsed.

Marsh I managed to find someone who was happy being without sex in my later 20s. I found out I had dysphoria and it wasn’t just how everybody felt by reading a fanfiction from a dumb show. I came out and it was an absolute shitshow with my family (still have trauma lmao ✌️). It’s gotten a lot better with time, hormones, surgeries, and therapy, but I did recently disown a family member. 🤷♂️

pres @marsh_6055 This needs to be turned into some movie. And I agree, I think it’s best you found out the way you did. Cause damn the way kids hate trans people today (kids hate anything they don’t understand) it would be so much worse then. You’re so incredibly strong, and I look up to you. Good job bud, keep going!

Casey I'm aromantic, and I just kinda found out, not really a story about it. 🤣 haven't came out about it yet, I figured I didn't really have to cause I'm just going to be single forever. 😅🤣

My name I'm bi, and I found out by just seeing a meme abiut it and realizing I related. But before then I've always felt that way but didn't mention it bc I thought most everyone felt the way I did. Once I saw the meme I was like :o that's me!!

Sarah Brown I think I'm older than a lot of you guys lol but I didn't figure it out until I was 31 - I was looking at all the pictures of hot actresses I reblogged on tumblr like I don't think this is heterosexual behaviour 🤣. Big obstacle to me was the way people joke about being married/hating their bf etc I thought all women kind of just tolerated relationships with men.

Hannah I’m Biromantic asexual. And for the bi part, I realized it cuz I had a crush on my best friend who is a girl. And I also had a crush on boy before. And for the ace part I just knew it cuz my friends talked a lot about sex and that kinda stuff. And I was never interested in it and it just grossed me out.

Hayden Fields So literally like three days ago I said I was non-binary on a social media thing (I can't even remember what platform it was on because it was like three in the morning) and one transphobic person said something along the lines of "ahaha it thinks that it can be whatever gender it wants to be" and I was like hell yeah it pronouns are actually cool thanks for validation

I was just scrolling on insta and u found this cute post with a fluffy dog holding a lesbian pride flag and in the description it said what the lesbian flag meant, and I literally started crying because I knew I was attracted to girls but I never knew there was a name for it and I was just so happy. For the nb I was just felt it Yk. Like I just knew, but I did need some help from my friends!
