Which is better the movie or the book? I just finished the book and didn’t like it. should I watch the movie?

Staci Millner This book has popped up as a book suggestion and I never picked. Now the movie.. I must read the book before I watch the movie and the way everyone’s comments it sounds like the movie is great!!

AilaTheLunartic The book was too slow and boring until about 3/4 the way in. The only good part was when kya was arrested. I don’t think it’s worth buying. If you want to read it maybe buy it when it’s second hand or in a library. I bought mine for $14 when it was on sale. It’s a book that is generally expensive b/c it’s popular. I could have bought 3 books in that sale instead of buying that. It was recommend to me about a million times so I thought I would love it. Just my opinion, sorry if I sound rude 🥹

Lucy I haven’t read the book, but just watched the movie and I really liked it.

delaney Personally I love both the movie and the book but the movie was at a much faster pace compared to the book and held my attention the whole time. It was also very well adapted to the book.

Paige G I tried to read the book. It moves very slow and it just wasn't my type of book. I didn't finish the book. The movie however...the movie was good.
