Sarah Ortinau Neither of these authors really hit the characters or romance in any of their stories. I kinda forgive it in the Illuminae series because it’s so wild, and the writing is so different that the characters reacting to crazy situations sounds par for the course

Brian strong I finished the series and thought it was alright. I liked Kristoffs Empire of the Vampire and Nevernight Chronicles far more. These series were more R than PG for what it's worth.
