Topic: The Sinner

I have only seen a few scenes of this series but have heard good things. I was wondering since it's an anthology series what's the best season or what should I start with? I've seen little pieces of s1 and maybe an episode of s2 but nothing to judge anything. Did you like this show? Is there a best season?

Craig S. The season I liked the least was 3. I liked season 1 the best, and 2 and 4 were tied for second. 3 just went a bit off the formula. But even though it's an anthology, it follows Bill Pullman as the detective and it kind of shows his characters progression though each season.

Phillip S. Ok thanks! I know s1 follows Biel and a crime she doesn't remember or something and I think it's 2 following a childs crime but I wanted to start this series and watch through I've heard s4 is really good

Amanda Parker I watched all 4 seasons in order. Season 1 is the best and I'm not very fond of Jessica Biel. It's the only season I'd be willing to rewatch. Season 4 is the 2nd best. Seasons 2 & 3 rank the same. I'd rather not of even watched either of them. If you do intend on watching both seasons 3 & 4, I'd suggest you watch those back to back. The same detective is in every season. Some would say he acquired PTSD because of certain events I won't mention and his mental health is severly abused in season 3. His mental health and the effects of season 3 influence him in season 4.

Phillip S. Honestly Im not a huge fan of Biel either maybe why I didn't connect with s1 I think I'm just going to keep this series on the back burner for now lol there's so many shows out there it can get overwhelming lol
