What is the demand for these historical product based movies that keeps getting them greenlit? In recent years weโ€™ve had movies or shows about BlackBerry, Tetris, Air Jordans and Cheetos. Now there is a movie about inventing pop-tarts. Who is this for? ,[object Object],

Road Master I don't get it either. I watched a YouTube documentary about how Bionicle saved Lego. It was surprisingly interesting. But YouTube was EXACTLY the right place for it. I would not have made an effort to watch a movie about it.

Brandon Reed The title of this article is an Andy Warhol acid trip of a sentence.

Brandon Reed I think there must be a large enough number of people who are passionate about the products themselves to make the film projects profitable. I'd say that's strange, but I host pages for make-believe movies and Asian cartoons ๐Ÿคฃ

Ryan My theory is that marketing people think theyโ€™re the most interesting people on Earth. So they are willing to green light movies about marketing. Most of the projects go straight to streaming, so they donโ€™t have to perform at the box office.

Shay I love documentaries but I couldnโ€™t care less about Tony The Tiger, Jordanโ€™s, or Cheetos. I have no idea who the audience for this is supposed to be. It should be me, but nope.
