Topic: The Cruel Prince

Is this a good book? I want to read it but I don’t want or buy the whole series if I don’t like it.

Hannah Linder I liked it, it might just be me but I had to be in the mood for fantasy before I could read it, the characters are good tho and it only took a couple days for me to read

camila espinoza Honestly it’s too overhyped in my opinion. Romance is more like the subplot in this story for sure so if you’re looking for that you’re not gonna find it in this series

Candence Yes it’s a good book. But, you have to read the rest of the books in the series to understand more of the background of this book

Madison C This is one of my favorite series ever! It's a little bit of a slow start, but it's sooo worth it! If you don't want to buy it maybe you could get it from a library, but you should definitely check it out!

Callie I absolutely LOVED this book, it’s what got me into reading! The first and third ones are my favs but I don’t mind the second one. I am warning you this is a slow burn but is enemies to lovers. Holly Black is one of my favourite authors. Would 100% recommend :)

Rianne Morrow Personally i enjoyed the book and I’m planning on getting the rest of the series, it starts a little slow but it will be worth it!

Mavis Ring Not a big fan of the series. I'd heard good things and kept thinking it would get better but it turned out it was just never going to be my cup of tea.

Liz.D It’s not the book for everyone, I’d try the first book without buying the series and go from there.

Ngozi Onah It's okay but I agree that it's over-hyped. I got through the first one but I couldn't bring myself to read the rest of the series. My friends who have read it say the rest of the series is amazing tho.

Astrophel Rivera I loved the book, but most of the online hype is for the romance which is pretty nonexistent in book one. But the vibes and worldbuilding are really fun imo
