Sarah Ortinau It’s okay, the world is interesting and the characters are very dynamic. It’s not my favorite of hers, that’s “A River Enchanted.” But that just may be because I love spooky forest with folklore and lyrical writing. I did enjoy the conversation around war, war profiteering, and propaganda.

FireBreathingBitchQueen This one definitely falls under the slow-burn, enemies to lovers 'sweet' romance. Not spicy. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and the follow up 'Ruthless Vows'. Loved the Word War 2 with monsters and magic theme.

awesome_user_356466 It’s great loved it. The second one was not as good. The arch enemy was all talk no godliness

Ashley It is slow burn, but you can feel the emotions coming off the page, and even though it is a light enemies to lovers, it is also so blush worthy and cute. It's almost like a retailing of WW1, so you feel the disparity and bleakness of your surroundings. I thought it was a masterpiece.
