Writers, Authors, or anyone, what is the best writing advice you have ever gotten? I'm attempting to write a book, and everything I write seems bland, and I am losing motivation! Help!

Road Master First and foremost. WRITE! Stop overthinking. Stop thinking you need more prep. Stop thinking it's not good/not good enough. Stop thinking your 1st draft has to look like Tolkien or Rowling. Most of these are excuses we make. Your 1st draft WILL suck. Just get the bones of your story on paper. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th... drafts are for cleaning it up and making it look better.
