Topic: Criminal Minds

How good is this series? On paper I should love this I love dark and gritty crime dramas or thrillers especially going into the mind of the criminal but I still haven't watched this. I'm just not typically a fan of the typical police procedural like every episode a new case or killer I like when it's one season to follow killer it's more believable imo, but would you suggest this show to someone who does love a good crime drama? Broadchurch. Dublin Murders. The Fall. The Wire, Shield I love...

Craig S. I would've loved this show more back when I was younger watching things like CSI, NCIS, The Mentalist etc., but nowadays after watching shows like you mentioned and others I just can't do the network TV thing anymore. They just seem so juvenile compared to things like The fall and Broadchurch. I've tried watching this, Found, The Irrational, and Alert: Missing Persons Unit and I just can't get past the silly dialogue and somewhat goofy background music when there shouldn't be.

Phillip S. That's exactly how I feel but I know many people who love this show. This, Hannibal and Prodigal Son on paper I should love but I've attempted those and haven't caught my attention yet, now some of my favorite shows like LOST or Orphan Black took me a couple times to watch before it grabbed me but every episode having a new case has never been my thing, I never got into NCIS or Law and Order only Psych I think is the one like that that I watched and that was because the comedy. Idk I think I'm going to give this a shot though because Criminal behavior shows I love, like Mindhunter was amazing
