Jess WrightThis is the third book I have read by Emily. Henry and I really like her style. I'm already looking to see what other books she's written. I really like this story. I kept me wanting to read more. I was desperate to know what had happened three summers ago, but I knew I wouldn't get to know until the end so I kept reading. I really liked Poppy and Alex. I liked that I knew what was going to happen in the end or at least I hoped. I knew it was going to happen in the end but I enjoyed the journey to get there the self-discovery and how there was no easy fix for them. They had to work for it.

Jess WrightI was a little hesitant to read this book because I had read some reviews and seen some readers that I follow say that they weren't loving it. So I started reading it way later than I thought I would and I have to say that I loved it. It was exactly what I wanted it to be. I love Ali's writing I want to hear all the stories that she has tucked away in her brain. I mean this book talks about one with a mermaid I hope she's writing that one too. I can't wait for more. I was a little bit sad when I saw the 2023 date in the back of the book for her next book but I guess those things take time. I mean I wish I took less time but what can you do? More about this book. I like the plot. I liked the characters. The book kept me interested in the story and invested in where the characters were going and how they were feeling. I also liked the bit of mystery that was going on towards the end and the hints that were dropped throughout the book I picked up on them which always makes me feel smart. If you liked her first book, you'll love this one. If you loved her first book, you'll love this one too.

Jess WrightI'm not okay. This book was very good. It made me feel lots of things. At one point I was like why would you write this? It made me so sad. So much going on. I can't even imagine where we're going with all of this. That ending what the ****? I just there's so many thoughts. This book was anxiety inducing. At some points I had to put it down and just walk away for a few minutes.
