Kate WeldonI am super into true crime podcasts, I know this about myself, so it was wild to see a character who had taken their obsession to the next level. This book was so strange but in a good way - I was kinda disappointed by the ending and had to Google it so I could see what other people’s interpretations were, but I would still recommend it!
Kate WeldonThis was a little predictable, but it was still a great book! It’s been a while since I’ve read it but getting to the middle of this family’s history was so interesting!
Kate WeldonI didn’t know this was a series????? I need to find the other books because this one was so good!!! It was so easy for me to jump into the middle of the series and be deeply invested in their old San Francisco world.
Kate WeldonI know this book as been trending recently, so let me tell you: read it. Read it now. Colleen Hoover’s incredible ability to make you pity the characters, hate the characters, be sick by what they did, is an absolute art form and my jaw was permanently on the floor during this read. This was one of the best reads so far and I can’t wait to dig into more of her works!
Kate WeldonOh my GOODNESS this book was such a wild ride. Start to finish. I was so confused at the start but as the book progressed I could not believe how everything tied into itself and how trippy it was. Definitely going to read this again!
Kate WeldonThis book was such a good read! It was a bit slow to take off but by the time I finished I really appreciated the slow build and all of the background on the characters. I wanted it to be longer!!
Kate WeldonAt first I wasn’t sure how I liked the oral history format of this book, but by the end I got used to it and enjoyed it! I LOVED Seven Husbands and had really high hopes for this book but it ended up being just an okay read. It was definitely cool to be able to get a viewpoint into the 70s rock and roll scene, the storyline just didn’t grab me quite as much as I had hoped. Still enjoyed reading it though!
