Mike McdonaldI'm an adult man whose daughter isn't a big reader but she enjoyed these books. To encourage her to read more, I had told her I'd also read them when she was done with them. I read them all and thought they were great.

Mike McdonaldGreat book. Got it from my wife for my birthday. I had never heard of it or Howarth and saw that it was a sequel. After finishing it I went to a book store and bought the preceding book, Only Killers and Theives.

Mike McdonaldGreat book. I'd read a few of McCammon's books about 30 years ago. Unfortunately, they were long gone. I found his book Stinger at a Goodwill a couple months ago but couldn't find Boy's Life. Then, one day, my wife and I were in a local thrift store and I saw it. I grabbed it right off the shelf and began reading it. It's as beautiful now as I remember it. Fantastic book!

Mike McdonaldThis was one of the best books I've ever read. It made me cry about 5 times until I got to the final 25 pages or so; then it was pretty much non-stop waterworks.
