I had small tiffs with Hayden at times, and i think girli could do better, but I've seen much worse book boyfriends *cough cough christian grey* so I can ignore it. regardless, decent book. I'd recommend it if it's a person's writing style. REMINDER TO READ ALL CONTENT WARNINGS AND SEE WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT THE BOOK BEFORE READING IT. THERE IS NEVER SHAME IN PUTTING DOWN OR STOPPING A BOOK IF IT ISNT GOOD FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. the book did have mentions of rape, and the rapist was murdered (yay on that). the hallway scene where he got mad when callie implied he'd assault her honestly made me clutch my pearls. I was worried for her. he was ******. spice 6/10. definitely spicy but not as crazy as I would've liked romance 5.5/10, they need therapy.

spice_loverloved the murder and gore more than tje spice, surprising for me. he's goofy and it's clear that he has genuine feels. I predicted the ice cream, so it wasn't all that shocking honestly.

spice_loverdon't know why people call this romantic. I read it years ago, but it's good. personally, I'm a fan of spice, but it was good enough that I actually finished it, so props to the author on that. I usually can't focus if there isn't romance (it's how I pretend I'll ever find love)

spice_loververy cute and fluffy. the constant push and pull on them trying to figure out if HANSOF would turn into forever was pretty good, but i mostly wanted to slap them both for not just saying what they felt.

spice_loverread it in 7 hours amd could NOT put it down. every page has a fascinating twist that will keep you wanting more. beautiful writing and such depth to the characters.

spice_loverdefinitely for a specific audience, read the trigger warnings. please remember at any time reading this and the sequel that if you need to put it down and ignore it or stop reading it entirely, that is okay. focus on yourself and your own mental health. you never have to finish a book. that said, i loved it. Zades stalker personality was flawless to me, and an absolute mouth drooler, and I adore the way Adeline eggs everything on. I relate to her far too much, and I'm jealous of her to be honest. overall, and excellent book. the belt scene when he picks her up was beautiful, and the Hall of mirrors scene made me sit up and cross my legs a million times.

spice_loveramazing. read it in a day. it's a good book with great plot and spice, however some things seemed described strange to me. some things were over or under described where I didn't expect it, and it definitely confused me at points because I'm not used to the style of writing. regardless, it was an amazing book, and I'm already on the second one. overall, I definitely recommend it, even if I find it a little quirky.
