"It puts a modern twist to classic star trek while staying very true to the original characters. It is back to the episodic format (unlike Picard and Disc) and after only 3 episodes has shown that it is a throwback to addressing societal issues that was done exceptionally by TNG. I have loved it. It makes me especially excited knowing how hard it must be to bring back beloved characters while walking the line between honoring the originals and modernizing the show. "

"As someone who is very much NOT a fan of Discovery, when the trailer came out I kinda went into “hold my breath and hope it’s good” mode. Thankfully—Strange New Worlds isn’t just good., it’s FANTASTIC. SNW feels like a modern day updating of TOS while telling its own beautiful story. Anson Mount is so perfectly cast as Pike that I can’t picture anyone else in the role, past or present. (Finally, a Trek show where I’m actually looking forward to the time travel eps!)"
