"Sarah J Maas is simply one of the best authors ever each one of her books have been beyond addicting. throne of glass was an amazing series every book there was a surprise that just had me getting up and jumping for joy and excitement after wrapping my head around what can possible happen next what are the characters going to do! highly recommended series!"
"I’ve heard that this series is slow at the beginning but gets better after the first couple books. I am just going to hold on to that assumption moving forward because this book was slow. I liked the characters but didn’t love any of them. The romance was bland, the action was bland. The last 25% picked up enough to pique my interest and the hints and cliff hangers at the very end were interesting but this book was not super exciting. "
"I read the first book in this series for a book club, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t enjoy it very much. I thought the author relied way too heavily on telling and not showing. The main character felt underdeveloped and almost verged on a Mary Sue archetype, which was very unfortunate because I love powerful women in my books. However, this one just felt poorly written. The book also leans into some racist stereotypes regarding the WOC side characters that were uncomfortable to read to say the least. Overall, this book was not for me. Nothing against other readers if they got enjoyment out this series, but it is definitely not one I will be going back to. "
"After reading the prelude I was like weird hard to get into verses ACTOR but wow the depth and the badass characters are throwing me through a loop. Also I keep devouring these books in 1.5 days.
This is an interesting take on the Hunger Games meet fantasy. Sam had saw her and gave her the time to tell him in her own time. But with these two it understandable that they are in love with the mysterious beautiful new thing. The more they get to know her the more they want to know her.
The mystery lover in myself is like DUDE, this thing NEEDS TO BE SOLVED!
I might be hated for this but I think TOG series might be better than ACTORS. if I could read everything again I think I should have read TOG first and ACTOR second.
I am enjoying this series so far!"
