What are some of your favorite dwarf or dwarf-esqu characters/races in fantasy especially funny ones, by dwarf-esqu I mean their personality, most humanoid fantasy races I feel are broadly either dwarf-esqu or elf-esqu the dwarf-esqu one's are more bombastic, love ale and fighting and their criticism of humans are more reasonable, examples: newl & doran from fablehaven or the nac mac feegles from terry pratchet's works elf-esqu one's are more refined uptight and often have unachievable standards

Kyle DunlaveyThey don’t appear until later in the book but my favorite is Svirfneblin or “Deep gnomes” and a specific character from this book. There are also duergar or gray dwarves
