"This is like a standalone duology, can be read on it's own without getting lost in the storyline and has amazing characters which I love to read about! My favorite!
This duology is noted to go hand in hand with the "Shadow and Bone" Trilogy 📚
Also good but I love the Duology more♥️"

"Loved the characters, often had no idea what was coming next and at certain parts found myself laughing out loud which was a bit shocking due to the overall tone of the book. "

"SEVENTEEN OUT OF FIVE STARS. Hands down my absolute favourite series of all time. Each character is deeply elaborated, each with a unique backstory that has clearly shaped who they are and what decisions they make. The books are fast paced, intriguing, dark and humorous at times, and have BEAUTIFUL character development. Six of crows is very heist-y and fun, and crooked kingdom takes on a slightly different aspect of challenges (additional personal ones between characters), major character development, and so much more. The plots are tight and slick and just like, WOW. Vengeance, violence, romance, and best of all, characters who have been broken and come out stronger TOGETHER. They’re such a charismatically fun group—they help break each other’s walls down, work through challenges, and more! Humour, banter, etc. These characters are absolutely just so so SO amazing. THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. This is a series for—in my opinion—everyone. I will ALWAYS recommend these books. I think it’s great if you’re in a reading slump, or are looking for a fast paced, fun read, or… in, well, every other circumstance. Sure, if this is a new fantasy world for you, at first it’ll be a bit intimidating, like, “what the heck is a grisha?!” But you should be able to catch on fast. (Only proves how elaborately rounded out Leigh’s world building is). Maybe I’m overly obsessed with these books. Read it and tell me if I need to see a doctor."

"It was so good! It's like a fantasy history. Twists and turns mixed with a hint of magic and some dark past. Its not my usual genre but im glad I went for it"
