Topic: Black Mirror
Anyone else staying up tonight to watch the new season of Black Mirror as soon as it comes out? I am hoping to pace myself but it may be an all nighter. In any case who else is looking forward to this new season? What did you think about last season? #julietspicks #blackmirror

Topic: PULSE
For those of you who haven’t watched Pulse on Netflix yet, I envy you. I just binged the whole show in one sitting and I’m absolutely obsessed. I haven’t watched a show this good in a while, especially a Netflix original. It’s incredibly entertaining—everything from the romance at the hospital to the medical cases, and the characters are super interesting. But we all know how Netflix has this habit of canceling shows that are nothing but perfection, so please, go watch it!!! #drama #romance

I just want to say this was probably the best show I have seen in a very long time, it's a short 4 episodes around hr long each the acting in this was just absolutely superb. Stephen Graham is always great but the main kid this might be his first, definitely his first main role, he was phenomenal. Highly suggest this it's so raw emotionally it's filmed in real time to it feels really real, did everyone else feel the same lol

Topic: Following
I recently finished Christopher Nolan’s debut, Following. It was the last Nolan I hadn’t watched, so I’ve completed his (current) filmography. I wondered how many other directors’ filmographies I’ve finished (5 movie min, only films considered). I could only find two others, Tarantino and Rian Johnson. I’m close on several others but I was surprised how few I had, considering I’ve watched somewhere around 2000 movies. Do any of you know how many director filmographies you have completed?

The real 'Martha' is NOT happy and plans to sue Netflix. The woman who this show is about mostly, her identity was found out and she is really upset and wants to sue based off of what she is saying is defamatory and nothing but fictional.. here's a interview with Piers Morgan. https://youtu.be/mK-isQXd_Qw?si=JV5lEn0HETdb6-i3

Topic: The Bear
Omggg I’m dying to discuss the seggsual (spelled that way for filter purposes) tension between Camry & Sydney??? I was trying to deny it at first and consider it platonic. But the way Sydney reacts to Carmy’s girlfriend at first and the random under the table moment felt VERY romantic. Someone pls confirm I’m not insane😭 #thebearonhulu #thebear

Topic: Dexter: Original Sin
Dexter original sin premiered Friday I'm happy to see more Dexter however as someone interested in psychology it's really bugging me how different Debra and Dexter are compared to the original and it's not just that they're less mature, that's only to be expected but their entire psychological profiles seems to have been altered I think for Dexter the problem is on the actor as for Debra I think the writers are dropping the ball. Have you guys noticed it, what are your opinions on the new serie

Topic: Blue Velvet
(Spoilers) Just watch “Blue Velvet” over the weekend and I really liked it… except for the ending. Does anybody know if the ending was a studio decision to make the film more marketable or if it was the intended ending all along and there’s just something in the movie I don’t get? Because to me it doesn’t feel like it should have a happy ending, but I’m entirely willing to admit that it may fit in a tonal or thematic way I just don’t get.

Just watched Run Lola Run and I’m not really sure what it’s about. Like thematically. What do you think?

Topic: Reign
Is this any good? I'm getting into these historical dramas but this almost seems more like a teen drama lol I watched some of an episode plus it was on CW I think and they usually do teen shows so I'm curious what people mostly think should I watch this series? Either this or Tudors that showed on showtime I think
