Hey, this is my first time diving into the classics. What would be the best translation of The Iliad to read?

whiskyjay i think if this is your first classic i’d recommend fagles. it’s very accessible and action forward. but here’s a good article that goes over some of the different options: lareviewofbooks.org/article/the-english-iliad/
