Topic: Stalking Jack the Ripper
Does this book get more interesting or is it just describing autopsies continuously? I’m not squeamish usually but this is kinda grossing me out. I was hoping for mystery, action, and maybe some romance… but all I’ve got so far 50 pages in is lots of blood and descriptions of cutting people open. Just want to know if it’s worth continuing through or if I should stop now?

Lauren Smith I would like to know as well. I got bored and moved on to something else.

Meg K Book 2 was my favorite in the series! I don’t recall the rest of the series being overtly focused on the forensic medicine aspect, but book 2 takes place in Dracula’s Castle which, in this version, is a school on the subject. There is definitely more romance in the later installments. I’m fascinated by forensics so I may be off in my recollection, but I would say at least give book 2 a go!

Disgruntled Alchemist I read the first book, but didn’t love it. Quitting because it is grossing you out is reasonable.

Nel Quevedo I does pick up eventually the continuous autopsy description is just to establish the MC’s knowledge and “expertise”
