Topic: A Court of Silver Flames

About Sarah J maas’s book and ACOTAR series: so there has been some speculations (mostly because of the easter eggs on her Instagram page) that Sarah is writing the next book for ACOTAR series. I wanna know how you guys feel about Azriel and Elain since I know a few people actually don’t want them to get together. I’m honestly confused what she’s going to do about Lucien’s mate bond.

Annette Greason I’ve been wondering about this same thing. I feel like SJM mentioned many times that people don’t have to listen to their mate bond. But I feel like if she pairs Elain with Azriel then that would mean all three sisters fell in love with all three brothers (even tho Rhysand, Cassian, and Azriel aren’t biological brothers). I understand why others wouldn’t have an issue with that but for me it’s all too… familial. Personally, I want Elain to overthrow Tamlin and replace him as the High Lord of the Spring Court, so that Elain can garden all year long.

estelle :) That’d be a nice idea (especially since I find the fact of all three sisters ending up with the three guys a little too perfect ifyk what I mean) Honestly what really bothers was there was a quote in ACOSF where Nesta says the Elain would’ve loved the spring court. Not to mention the fact the Tamlin situation hasn’t been resolved. Hopefully Elain and Tamlin won’t be endgame.

Madison C I love Lucien, I feel like he's a pretty underrated character, and I would love to see him and Elain end up together. Lucien is Hellion's son, so there's a chance for Elain to become High Lady of the Day Court, which could be fun, and they're mates. That being said, I won't be upset if she ends up with Azriel, I just feel like they might not be the best pair. At this point Az mainly wants her because he feels like he deserves her, the other two males got her sisters so why didn't he get her? I think they are both broken and they need to heal, but I'm not sure they can do it together. I feel like Az and Elain are kind of forced, like if Sarah makes them end game she's only doing it for the sake of keeping the three brothers with the three sisters, which I don't believe is necessary for the book to be a success. I think that Az and Gwyn would make a great couple though, they just feel more natural together, at least in my opinion. Things between Az and Elain could change drastically in the next book, though so we'll just have to wait and see. Here's a fun theory that I stumbled upon the other day, so I'll share it.

estelle :) I’m definitely still hoping for them to get together but there is still some doubts like for example, I feel like Azriel only likes the idea of Elain mostly. But if Sarah J Maas really wants the relationship to work out, there’s going to have to be some major character development in both of the characters.

But on the other hand, I think Lucien is a great side character who would go well with Elain, while Azriel could end up with Gwen. It could go either way, and they would both be great in my mind ♥️
