Topic: The Black Witch

Did anyone read The Black Witch? I want to know what happens without having to read the series.

Disgruntled Alchemist I read it. I liked the first two books. There is a prophecy about a black witch and a mystical creature (I forgot the name) and they will destroy and reshape the world. Then the actual story is about the girl who everyone thinks is the black witch. She goes to magic college. There’s a politician who is trying to get elected who wants to destroy all other magical races. And the girl has to learn and unlearn her political beliefs. It was really well done, I thought.

AutisticJester I read the first book and got pretty much all that information. Do you know how it ends?

Disgruntled Alchemist It hasn’t ended yet. The last book in the series isn’t out yet.

Disgruntled Alchemist Yes, but the publication date on book 5 keeps getting pushed back, so we’ll see when it actually comes out.

Disgruntled Alchemist The first book ends with the evil politician gaining office and passing a law that all girls must be married by 17, which forces the girl into a marriage.
