Sages Personally, the only good Alien movie was Alien: 2 and i've never been interested in any extended media. Sorry Ridley Scott. 3 was okay but i don't think id rewatch it. I saw Alien in theatres with my wife on a re-release and we had to leave because we were laughing so hard it was causing a disturbance. Don't think aged well.

Road Master I love 1 & 2. I also recently watched 1 in the theater. I am SO glad I got the chance. But if it's not for you, it's not for you. I totally get that. I also love Prometheus. Alien vs. Predator was fun. AvP: Requiem was not so good. This trailer however, is pretty underwhelming.

Ryan The summary almost makes it sound like Predator. I’m curious if they can maintain the tension over a series because these stories work best when they’re lean and claustrophobic. I doubt it’s as sci-fi centric as something like Prometheus because it’s taking place on earth. I just don’t know what they’ll add to turn a 100 minute movie into a 8 episode season.

Road Master You make very good points. Just a thought after reading your comment. I wouldn't be surprised if they try a high tension tactic. Spend 95% of the time focusing on the humans in slow, drawn-out situations. Small, dark rooms standing around computer screens and trackers. Then, to remind the audience they're watching an Alien show, some quick-cut, high-energy action sequences with lots of running, screaming, shooting and just brief flashes of the Alien or Aliens before it/they escape.

Road Master Yep. It'd be ok for a few episodes. But not for that long.
