Scorsese’s next project is an adaptation of “Devil in the White City”. It’s a NF book about H.H. Holmes, who murdered people at the 1893 World’s Fair. DiCaprio and Keanu Reeves may star. This an interesting choice by Scorsese who, despite his many crime films, has never done a serial killer movie. His rendering of the World’s Fair would be interesting as well. https://variety.com/2025/film/news/devil-in-the-white-city-20th-century-leonardo-dicaprio-martin-scorsese-1236282649/

Brandon Reed I was excited for this when I first heard about it. Didn't realize it had been dropped, but I'm glad it's been revived!

Ryan I am curious what perspective Scorsese will tell the story from. I haven’t read the book but they can always alter that in the movie anyway (like he did in KOTFM). It’s crazy how prolific he still is in his mod-80s. I hope his health holds up, so he can finish the projects he wants to do.

DaRo reads This sounds quite intriguing. If he follows the book I can see an "An Age of Innocence" to the fair story and "Gangs of New York" for Holmes' story. I admire Scorsese's vision and how deft he is at blending old and new in his films and his love and homage to classic films.
