The Long Walk image

Topic: The Long Walk

I first read the Bachman Books when I was in High School and The Long Walk has stuck with me since. I've always thought this book was a reflection of humanity, what would people really be willing to risk to have everything. Sadly, some will think this is a play off The Hunger Games, but the book was released under a pseudonym of Stephen King's many years before that series was even a thought. I always wondered......did the Long Walk inspire The Hunger Games? What do you think?

Kevin Daniel If you look more into the history of the story, you’ll find it was an angsty, teenage King that wrote it. Perhaps that is why some will point at similarities with it and other dystopian teen novels, like HG or the Divergents. However, I am excited that it is finally coming to the silver screen.

Anji Wiens Oh I forgot that he was so young when he wrote The Long Walk. I hope that the team behind the adaptation will be able to do it justice!
