Matthew VicchiulloLol this series came during the Vampire Boom of the late 2000’s. Good show though. The dialogue can be rigid and forced/boring but nonetheless still a good pop culture vampire show.

Matthew VicchiulloNot gonna lie. One of the most foundational pieces of American witch media to hit. Downside. All the damn lore in the show has a large Wiccan bias. Mind you I know it’s fiction. But the show’s acting is pretty well too.

Matthew VicchiulloBad boy Klaus always starts trouble. But pretty interesting depictions of modern witches living in the Crescent City. Most of the spells and incantations in season 1 are usually in French or French Creole. In later seasons they start using Norse and Old Norse for the spells.

Matthew VicchiulloLoved this Dark reimagined Sabrina! They stay focused on the plot for the most part. The first season is rife with Satanism and folkloric witchcraft. Second season more Biblical and even large female Dark Lady. Unfortunately for me seasons 3 and 4 are the worst for me. But overall a pretty impressive show. Worth the watch.

Matthew VicchiulloThis podcast does deep dives into the more sinister side of true crime. With occasional episodes dealing with supernatural phenomena. Good listening though 6/5.
