Kevin Conley III think it's beautiful to see a modern Florida through the perspective of the kids in the film. Willem Dafoe was my favorite thing about this movie, and I love that it takes place in either the hotel or anywhere the kids go in Florida. It feels liberating. Although, the ending didn't completely stick the landing for me. But overall, I love it enough to come back for another viewing.
Kevin Conley IIThis film somehow keeps coming back to me whenever I think about it. I would always come back to see one scene, and then I would get sucked in to see the whole movie because the character are so likeable as heck. Also, as a fan of The Room, I love how accurate this looks and I love an biopic that relates to the entertainment business. Overall, this is the most likeable comedy Point Grey has ever made and one of my all time favorite A24 movies
Kevin Conley IIAs a Paul Thomas Anderson fan, this may not be as good as Punch Drunk Love. But that's also why this film was amazing. Daniel Day-Lewis was amazing in this, everything from the direction to the cinematography was beautiful. Also, the twist kind of worked for me actually. Overall, it's just another great Paul Thomas Anderson movie
Kevin Conley III didn't like this movie completely at first. But, after a second viewing, it was actually not bad. I love Jennifer Lawrence in that movie, I can kind of relate to her the most in this movie. Also, after seen theories of this film after watching it the first time, the film kind of worked for me. Even though I'll probably never watch this again, it's still worth the watch if you're up to some crazy and messed up stuff in a movie like this one
Kevin Conley IIHonestly, I didn't get it at first. But then I saw it again and I thought it was sharply original, a little bit funny, but mostly just entertaining. Colin Ferrel did an amazing job while Rachel Weisz was surprisingly funny. Other than that, this film is fascinating, especially if you love movies or a hardcore A24 fan in general.
