Morgan WeberThis book had a lot of tropes I usually don’t like, but it was actually done well. The spice wasn’t my personal cup of tea, but it was still good and this isn’t one of those books you read for the plot lol

Morgan WeberThis book was good, but I think the pacing was off. I also found myself annoyed with the amount of info withheld from the FMC and thus the reader. The plot and world building is super interesting though!

Morgan WeberI had a hard time reading this book, but my desire to read the next book got me through. It introduced one of my favorite characters, but I think the plot wasn’t placed well in comparison to Empire of Storms. I would have preferred to have this plot line woven into the plot in Empire of Storms, so I would recommend to tandem read these books as the timelines overlap.
