SkylarOkay i loved this book and feel like my life has no meaning ending this series BUT this book was really hard to get through. I’ve always loved the pov switches but bc there was so much going on throughout the book every chapter would end on a cliffhanger and it would be 100 pages before it’s that character again. Which was frustrating and made it hard to get through. But overall i feel like this wrapped up the series very well despite the possible sequel. Will definitely revisit the beloved grishaverse!
SkylarHoly crap that was amazing. The amount of INSANE plot twists that you legit cannot predict. Pushed the boundaries of the grishaverse and made you rethink everything.
Skylar3 stars seems harsh but 4 stars is too good. Don’t get me wrong i LOVED this book but it infuriated me. I feel like Pips entire personality changed halfway through like the way she handled it was not the pip i loved in the first two book. near the end i was a little more understanding but at the same time still aggravated. if you’ve read the series or thinking about it i still EXTREMELY recommend all of the books but this 3rd book was just my least favorite
SkylarThis sequel went far past my expectations. It was so good and so emotional. Definitely my favorite book in the series.
SkylarIt was a good book. I had to read it for school. I love how Achebe really described the culture of the Igbo. It fought the view of the single story of colonization. We see how detrimental it truly is to these cultures. There were a lot of emotional moments and the ending is CRAZY!! I probably wouldn’t have read this on my own but i’m glad I did because it was a really beautiful book.
SkylarUgh i loved this book so much! It was one of those books that becomes a second home and so i didn’t rush to finish at first. then it became THE most heartbreaking book. i cried so much because every characters story was so beautiful. 5/5 read!
