VexAmazing!!! Can tell a lot of love went into writing this book. Main character was fun and loveable, plot was entertaining, and overall messages and themes were compelling. Pacing of book was really well done and I couldn't help but binge it bc I HAD to know what happened next. Felt like I was watching an action- adventure movie rather than reading a book
VexNeat worldbuilding and interesting characters! Plot was a little predictable but still managed to have some twists. Great build up to the climax, only wish mc had more of a moment to shine in the end- he really didn't do much to resolve the conflict at the end. Love story was cute but felt secondary to the plot (NOT a bad thing because I was very invested in the story)
VexPlot and worldbuilding was interesting and def make me want to read other installments in this world. Spice is well balanced in the narrative and doesn't feel like it takes up space. I enjoyed the perspective of the main character a lot. Fae prince pov was ok, but felt like his personality jumped a lot. Some moments he was extremely dark and others he was very soft. Not a bad thing, just made it hard to get into his mind.
VexMuch better pacing than the book prior and main character is very endearing. Both answers many questions from previous installments and leaves us with so many more. I look forward to the next book!
VexA little hard to get through in the first 3/4 but is extremely exciting to read towards the end Majority of the book is in 2nd person which is very creative but definitely contributed to my struggle to get through the chapters
VexLoved it! Lot more action than other books by this author. Liked watching the main character grow into himself and gain confidence in his abilities. Also loved the darker points of the book- especially when main character is willing to do whatever is necessary to save his family and crush
VexPremise and world building were really cool, unfortunately ending fell flat and left me disappointed
VexAmazing! Had a ton of fanfiction tropes and was very fluffy Felt like the end of a ttrpg campaign where everyone settles down and gets a happy ending
