"I loved this book and couldn't seem to put it down. Absolutely amazing beautiful story. I'm not one for books featuring religious themes or characters, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the battles, internal and external, and obstacles the characters faced. Not to mention the fact that it had writing a book as a big part of the story, and as an aspiring writer, this inspired me. For those who don't know, Christina Lauren is actually two friends who write these books together, and in the acknowledgements (I don't always read them, but I'm glad I did) it mentions that Lauren was a big part of this, and since she was bi and a school counselor who dealt with a lot of queer teens who were unsure about their futures, it explains w another reason why this book was so well written. I was a bit annoyed at the 'best friend' though, she wasn't supportive and seemed to be a bit manipulative at times too. And then when she and Tanner (Spoiler Alert!) slept together after Tanner got broken up with and was a sobbing mess, she immediately kisses him, when he didn't want to have sex? And then he felt the need shower the whole ordeal off, and later HE'S the one who apologizes for 'taking advantage' of her? That threw me for a loop, and made it so I couldn't find it in me to sympathize with her later confessions. It could be that it just wasn't written quite right to get the idea across, but still. Other than that, I adored this book and enjoyed the roller coaster of emotions."

"It was a cute book that had a good message about accepting yourself. It does a good job clearing up the misconception about bisexual and teaching about Mormon. They showed Mormon being homophobic while being respectful to the religion. The author doesn’t villainize Mormons and she obviously did her research. The details about Mormon are right. I really liked that With Sebastian they showed that being gay doesn’t mean that you have to give up your religion. It is up to you what you believe is right.<br/><br/>Tanner was a bisexual (though he could easily be pansexual) nonreligious teen that had parents that were supportive of his sexuality. He wasn’t out yet but he accepted his sexuality. Sebastian on the other hand was a gay Mormon with parents that believed that being gay was a sin. Throughout the book he has the conflict of being true to his sexuality and finding acceptance with his family and religion. The author did a good job showing Sebastian conflict. I wish that they would of showed Sebastian’s conversation at the end with his parents<br/><br/>Autumn was a good character. She has a jealousy scenes but most of the book she supported him. I didn’t like Tanner’s Mom. Even though she accepted Tanner she kinda forced Tanner in the closet and hated Sebastian because he was a Mormon. I am not a huge Sebastian supporter but it still bothered me. I get that she’s scared but she can’t keep that side of him locked up. Also Tanner’s family was too quick to accept Sebastian.<br/><br/>I didn’t like the one scene with Tanner and Autamn towards the 2/3 of the book. I won’t way exactly what it is because Spoilers."

"I totally loved this book! It's a story between a bisexual non religous boy and the Mormon prodigy. When love is stronger then the reason! Simply written, beautiful and heartbreaking angle of love. It will makes you think, laughs, maybe even cry... Do I recommend? Totally!"
