StormThis one is very life changing and makes you realize how messed up society can be. Grab the tissues for this one and check the trigger warnings before you watch though.

MeadowI know a lot of people will think the anime is average, or too slow, but it’s something special. It’s so poetic and the music spoke to me. The composer has been my favorite since, and every year, he is my most listened to artist.

HeatherIt's kinda dumb but the change made a difference for me. When I was younger I was quite prudish, I would get uncomfortable with any "inappropriate" Jokes and thought I was above dirty humor. But it also made me incredibly uncomfortable around people who were more open about their preferences. When I found this show I couldn't stop laughing at the crude bits and it honestly helped me loosen up and now I'm a lot more comfortable with people who are more open about that part of themselves. This show also has fantastic found family and shows appreciation to extremely flawed characteristics.

JojoI have mentioned this on a couple of occasions already. But it has changed my life for the better. It has shown me that my thoughts and actions matter. As a result of this show, I adopted a pacifistic mindset with a more thoughtful approach to life. This has genuinely made me a better human being.

lyzander crossIt taught me about a stage of development that we don't really talk about in the west and it even introduced me to a term for it "chunibyo", I don't know of any western equivalent that really covers it as well

Sonia Barajas ♡I don't recall the first anime I decided to watch, but this one comes close. I was in my mid-40s. I'm almost 53 and have had my premium Crunchyroll subscription for years now. Started watching anime on Funimation. I think Testament of sister evil (forget the title) was another that gave me a taste for more anime. Learned much anime is geared towards adults! Lol😉

MeadowThis anime is so touching and beautiful. It shows what love can do for broken souls. It also reminds us how damaging prejudice and discrimination can be.
