Timarian EdwardsI read this book in grade school and I recently reread it, and I enjoyed it way more now in my adulthood. It kind of reminds me of a Knives Out type of mystery
Timarian Edwardsi enjoyed the book, but I will say that it was a bit confusing at some points. also, i followed up with watching the film and the film did it no justice at all.
Timarian Edwardsthis book was a very casual read. i liked it simply for what it was, and of course Issa Rae (i absolutely love her!) i read this entire book in her voice in my mind, and it made it much more comedic knowing her sense of humor on tv
Timarian Edwardsthis is a book to keep with you for years to come! it helped me realize different dynamics where I should have boundaries and how to be sound in those boundaries. there’s also homework after each chapter to apply what you’ve read, and it’s very helpful.
Timarian Edwardsphenomenal read and very thought provoking. highly recommend reading this! for anyone looking for a sign, this is it!
Timarian Edwardsdefinitely a page turner! i finished this book within a few days. the summary of the book gives it no justice. you presume that you’d know what the tone of the book would be based on the summary, but there’s so many plot twist and turns that what you thought you knew is completely incorrect. this one is for sure a must read!
Timarian Edwardsi loved how relatable the story was, the honesty, and the resilience of each of the women.
