"So much better than the first book in that the plot was even more captivating and the writing was better, but Jude's narration still annoys me at times though less so than before. Seeing that this second installment actually is better than the first gives me hope for the third one being at least a four star read. 3.5/5 👑"

"This book was even more of a rollercoaster then the last. And honestly I want to read the whole thing from Cardan's POV. Most of the characters are awful in every way, and while it does make me incredibly frustrated it also makes the book that much more interesting. Honestly my only complaint is the lack of romance but maybe that's the point"

"4.5 stars is the real rating. -SPOILER WARNING- OMG!!! I love this series so much. The book isn’t five stars just because I felt that some parts gave me a little second hand embarrassment from the writing. I first started reading this series a year ago or so. I read the full first book and maybe 2/3rds of the second book till I moved on to a new book I got. It wasn’t that the book wasn’t good. I’m actually pretty mad at myself for not finishing it sooner. This book made me gasp and scream so many times it should probably be embarrassing. I had forgetting about Cardan’s mom so I got to experience that shock twice. I also forgot the Jude murdered Balekin, which good for her. I can’t describe how disgusting it was when he told her to kiss him. -SPOILER FROM SHATTER ME- It gave me the same vibes when Aaron’s father told Juliette to kneel at his feet. I saw a bunch of spoilers on TikTok for QON but am still really exited to read it! I would 100% recommend this trilogy!"

"I really liked this one but I feel like (spoiler after here) if the betrayal from ghost hit a little harder it would have been better. I didn’t feel all that connected to ghost and so it was just an ohh okay moment. The ending betrayal tho that hit hard😭. I really liked how she played both sides too. I read this one with a friend and he sped read it to finish it first and completely missed the part where they got married😂"
