"An honestly disappointing sequel to The Exorcist. It lacked the magic and atmosphere that was so alive in its predecessor. Tommy Sunlight without doubt carries the novel and what Blatty chose to do with Sunlight's character felt rushed and wasted. It's too bad that Sunlight's character only shows up towards the end of the book. The film adaptation was much better. "
