Brittany Whelchel HicksThe hunger games books are so gut wrenching, and this book was no exception. I love a good origin story and this booked was great at showing Snow’s rise in Panem. Loved how many details from the trilogy are referenced in this book to help you better understand how the Hunger Games evolved over the decades. Snow’s involvement with the 10th Hunger games and his relationship with Lucy Gray really explain a lot about his disdain for Katniss in later Hunger Games.
