Almost done with this book and I think it touches upon some very important aspects of American past and present.

I am not at all familiar with the epic of Gilgamesh, but I picked this book up because I like the author. Do you think I can just jump in blind, or would it be better to drop it until I’m more familiar?

I just picked this up at a library sale, and I’ve heard great things about it through booktube and booktok, but I was wondering if you had read it and enjoyed it? What are your thoughts, as everyone says it beautiful and amazing, but does give a lot of details?

Everyone is sleeping on this book, 19th Century young debutant from Bolivia, makes her way to Egypt to find her missing parents, and Cleopatra’s tomb. It has an enemies to lovers (or rivals to lovers romance), great characters, and a fun adventure!

I’m about to start this book—I just got it for Christmas— and was wondering peoples overall thoughts on it and is there anything to be aware of before jumping in? I’ve always been very fascinated with Van Gogh so I’m super excited to check this out!

Anyone read this? Apparently about lady royals throughout history kicking some butt. Is this one of those #history reads that makes you want to learn more or just pumped up fluff?

This book includes info about Nancy Mitford and her sisters. Very interesting story about present day and WWII

What are peoples opinions on the Captivating history series? It keeps coming up when I search for historical topics that are a little more niche or hard to find, like a complete history of Hungary or Romania. I really value a well-researched and unbiased (I know this doesn’t always happen) historical narrative, preferably by a historian or someone with background in historical research. But I’ve never heard of the series until it recently came up in my Google searches.
