•—•I really liked this movie in terms of details within it as well as how it had me think about everything that was happening all at once. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I felt like it left me on a cliff hanger. It is about an adventurous girl who’s neglected by her parents but finds a place of thrill. The only bad thing is that thrill may just be an illusion and comes at a cost. This new world causes her to have to face a number of obstacles just to go back. Whether she truly escaped that illusion is really up to the people who watch this movie to decide.
•—•I watched this and later found out it was based on a real life story. Although tragic it is a series that has me intrigued the whole time I was watching. It gave you the harsh truths that come from bullying especially when the bullies are the rich. I would not watch this if you are not okay with nudity, sex scenes, drug addiction, suicide, murder, blood, and overall violence. Putting that aside it was truly mind boggling, their were many twists and turns and I never could guess what was happening next.
•—•It was indeed a mystery that did bring a level of fright, but the main character lacked decision making. It did bring to the forefront what it’s like to be viewed and be a woman wether it’s back in history or in todays time. I do feel as if she could have been written better from a woman rather than being written as this dumb woman who got her stuff together out of nowhere at the end. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend.
•—•I have watched the first season of the show and I think it was a good show. It brings awareness for how people affect the environment around them. It brought an insight to how people will not focus on what’s important when a sickness is being spread and it kills everyone it touches. The characters within the show are all different and colorful. Their is some cursing, death and violence so with that being said I think it’s more meant for middle schoolers and older, but that’s up to you to decide.
•—•It is a heavy read that brought to light and insight what it’s like to have a manipulative mother. Shares about her life with and without her mom. Don’t trust don’t trust the reviews that say it was funny because it was not comical at all! As for if you should read it I would be careful knowing that it can be triggering to people who have an eating disorder and have an abusive mother.
