Romona Smith Simpson3.5 🌟I liked this book so much that I finished in three days on audio. My main gripe was on audio the way she talked in the tone of some characters drove me nuts they were so loud. Other than that this was my first book by this author. I would read more as this one kept me picking it up wanting to know the outcome. Kind of made me feel like I was watching a good movie.

Romona Smith SimpsonCouldn’t put this one down. Mystery and intrigue and yes I was so guessing the “outcome” BUT, the writing and the story kept it alive and dancing in my head that I had to find out if I was right! Sorry it was over so fast.

Romona Smith SimpsonRead this one just because I liked “her” when she was an up and coming actress. Wanted to learn a little as to where and why she felt her identity needed to change. All though I felt “his” story, I didn’t get the idea or feeling or the why… but possibly that’s just because we all are who we feel we are. And the next person really doesn’t know and should never judge. Regardless of opinions, purpose, religion, feelings, human is human and that’s what each of us are. I don’t understand the feeling/need to change ones self but than I have never had the desire. So to each their own. I just thought maybe there was some kind of clarity I might find in the book along his journey. The book was well written though of his life journey.

Romona Smith Simpson✔️ - Oh the Fuckery! This book is insane but pulled me right in. Had it been more detailed about itself I may not have read it. But I did and I liked it. So much that I found they made a Netflix mini series of it. I binge watched it in 2 nights. It sticks to the book pretty well besides maybe two things maybe three that I noticed. But not so huge that it didn’t still follow the story being told. Again, what the fuckery! Wooh! I am hoping she follows up with a second book because you are left saying… wtf!? But in a good way to me. I have read some reviews and some people hated the way it ended but to me she ended it that way to lead to a second book. So I liked it.

Romona Smith Simpson✔️ - Ok not sure why I picked this up but so glad I did. I listened to the audiobook and it’s so much better to hear the story on this one. (My thoughts) None the less people need to get out of this girls way. Wow, just wow to hear her side. Not saying tabloids are right or she ain’t lying about anything but you know there is truth behind all the pain she speaks of. Funny part is, she sounds just like you and I. An every day person with pain. Did her family take advantage of her… I think so. Does she have mental concerns, I think so also. BUT no more than the next person out here rich or poor. I listened with out judgement. I can understand her videos and why a little more now. She’s human she has feelings and well, I loved that she opened up and told her side as she feels it. Good read to see another side of her that the tabloids are not/did not tell. I suggest listening to it rather than the read. Sad that it took 13 years to find herself and stand up against the devils that used her. God has a path for us all… she’s walking hers. Good for her!

Romona Smith SimpsonAll though four stars might seem much to some anything lower would not be adequate. I picked this up as a new author to me and will try another of her books. This was an easy read and yea you could kind of tell where it was headed. The thing for me is it had enough mystery and enough what ifs or maybes that it kept you reading to know more. This was more like a “Lifetime movie” book but hey I love watching them movies also so I can’t knock this book. (Not that I’d want to) It had enough information of each character built throughout the book that it felt you knew them. I read it, I liked it,and it kept my interest.

Romona Smith SimpsonEasy read and wanted something to fill my gap between reading books I was waiting for from library. Overall it was well written. I had a hard time though likening to any character. No attachment or wanting to know more about them. I think maybe there could have been more “feelings” or emotions from the characters and I would I have been more invested. But as I said I was looking for a quick read and I did finish the book. Worth the read for some I am sure but for me it was neither a hit or a miss.
